The Internet of Things (IoT) is a topic everybody has been talking about in recent days and which will have greater influence on our operating systems and on society in the near future. Over the next few years besides PCs, Smartphones and Tablets more and more intelligent systems such as industrial machinery, cars and household appliances will be connected to the internet to communicate automatically with one another.

But how will this affect our everyday life? Is our freedom to make decisions increasingly limited? What are the challenges the industrial sector will have to face?
