With the Mobile Business Radar evolaris launches a nationwide study of how mobile technologies are applied in leading Austrian companies.

Graz. As a centre of excellence for mobile communication evolaris works with its customers on mobile solutions for an increasingly integrated world. Many companies are not fully aware of the strengths and weaknesses or opportunities and risks of mobile communication and are therefore insecure about how to position themselves in the business sector.

For this reason evolaris has created the Mobile Business Radar. To provide an overview of Austria’s mobile business landscape a report will be created which will illustrate the current use of mobile technologies in Austrian companies and analyse the success factors, advantages and obstacles of mobile technologies and services in the corporate structure. Also, the study will show development topics of the next 12 months in mobile hard- and software (for instance head-mounted displays, mobile payment) and will here also take a look at internal as well as external business processes and applications.

To this end evolaris will interview decision makers, IT and marketing managers of the companies with the highest revenues from different industries on their experiences so far but also on the discernible future potentials of mobile technologies to support corporate processes.

The evolaris Mobile Business Radar will be run this year from April until August. Participating companies will receive an industry-related report; the central study results will be made available publicly after the study has been completed.

evolaris also invites small and medium-sized enterprises who wish to learn how they perform in the usage of mobile technologies in comparison to Austrian companies with the highest revenues to participate in the study. The free registration is possible until 15th of August at mbr@evolaris.net.
